NAEEA National Conference

Our flagship bi-annual event for Enabling Educators across Australia.

NAEEA’s National Conference brings together Enabling Educators, researchers and sector leaders from across Australia to share ideas, research and practice that strengthen Enabling Education. It provides an important opportunity to explore emerging issues, showcase innovation and support the continued development of pathways into higher education.

More than a conference, it is a national forum for collaboration and community. Delegates connect with colleagues across institutions, exchange insights and contribute to conversations shaping the future of Enabling Education and widening participation in Australia.

 

2026 NAEEA Conference

NAEEA’s annual conference is the leading national forum for Enabling Educators. It brings together researchers, practitioners and institutional leaders to explore emerging scholarship, policy developments and innovative practice.

Collaborative Learning Through SIGs

NAEEA Special Interest Groups (SIGs) bring Enabling Educators together to explore key areas of practice, research and policy within the sector. These member-led groups provide opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and professional discussion across institutions.

SIGs support ongoing professional development by connecting educators with colleagues who share similar interests and challenges, helping to strengthen research, teaching practice and sector engagement within Enabling Education.

NAEEA Symposiums

Sector conversations that shape Enabling Education

NAEEA symposiums bring Enabling Educators together to explore research, share practice and discuss the evolving challenges and opportunities within Enabling Education. These events provide a collaborative forum for academics, practitioners and sector leaders to exchange ideas and contribute to national conversations around pathways and widening participation in higher education.

Through presentations, panels and discussion, symposiums support the ongoing development of Enabling Education and strengthen connections across the sector.

The next Pathways Education and Research Colloquium will be held in 2027.

Online Learning in Enabling Education

NAEEA is exploring opportunities to expand its professional development offering through online learning. This future initiative will provide flexible access to learning materials, recordings and curated content designed to support Enabling Educators across Australia.
