NAEEA symposiums bring Enabling Educators together to explore research, share practice and shape the future of Enabling Education in Australia.
The Pathways Education and Research Colloquium is NAEEA's biennial sector event dedicated to advancing research, practice and collaboration in Pathways Education, Enabling Education, widening participation and equity in higher education.
Held in the years between the NAEEA Conference, the colloquium provides an opportunity for researchers, educators and practitioners to share emerging research, explore innovative practice and strengthen Pathways Education as a recognised field of scholarship.
The 2025 Pathways Education and Research Colloquium, Advancing the Agenda, was held on Friday 24 October 2025 at the University of Southern Queensland, Springfield Campus.
The event brought together colleagues from across Australia to examine current research, foster collaboration and contribute to the ongoing development of Pathways Education.
Presenters were also invited to submit expanded versions of their presentations for consideration in the Journal of Pathways Education and Research, further contributing to the growing body of scholarship in the sector.
The next Pathways Education and Research Colloquium will be held in 2027.
