Governance

NAEEA is governed by an elected Executive Committee, with members serving a two-year term. At the conclusion of each term, executive positions become vacant, and the full NAEEA membership is invited to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). Executive members are formally elected by the membership. This process ensures a transparent and inclusive approach to leadership, providing all members with the opportunity to contribute to the direction and governance of the association.

Voices from the Enabling Education Community

These student stories highlight the real impact of Enabling Education, showcasing the journeys, challenges and achievements of those who have built confidence, capability and new opportunities through learning.

Partners & Collaboration

NAEEA works in partnership with universities, equity networks, community organisations and sector leaders to strengthen Enabling Education across Australia. Through active engagement and dialogue across the higher education landscape, we ensure Enabling Education remains visible, valued and informed by evidence.

We maintain strong international and regional connections with organisations including the Foundation and Bridging Educators of New Zealand (FABENZ), the Forum for Access and Continuing Education (FACE) in the United Kingdom, and Equity Practitioners in Higher Education Australasia (EPHEA). Through this collaboration, the network fosters cross-institutional partnerships and strengthens outcomes for underrepresented learners.
