Self-efficacy

The Self-efficacy SIG was established by a group of NAEEA members who shared a keen interest in self-efficacy. Our primary goal is to connect colleagues and create a supportive community focusing on both students’ and educators’ self-efficacy. We explore academic and career self-efficacy, along with related concepts like locus of control and self-directed learning. As our SIG grows, we aspire to stimulate national-level discussions, share valuable resources, and promote research in this field. New members are warmly welcomed, so please feel free to reach out and join our vibrant community.
