The Online Learning Special Interest Group (SIG) brings people together from across institutions to share ideas, experiences, and practical strategies for engaging students in online learning. Research shows that when students feel connected to their learning environment and develop a sense of belonging, they are more likely to succeed at university (Stone, 2023). This is especially important for students in enabling education, who may face additional challenges such as imposter syndrome and navigating the complexities of online study (Devlin, 2016; Stone & O’Shea, 2022).
If you’re interested in exploring ways to better support and engage online learners and in connecting with colleagues who share that goal, we warmly invite you to join our webinars. They offer a friendly and supportive space to learn, reflect, and share practice together.
