This special interest group is a space where the unity of theory and practice in the Mathematical and Statistical Sciences can be explored. It also aims to highlight the unique aspects of these fields to be shared with both students and educators. By doing so, this group hopes to pass on the joy and appreciation of mathematics that its participants have experienced, regardless of their level of knowledge or expertise. The group will also take an active role in the advancement of innovative learning and teaching of mathematics at Australian universities in the Enabling sector and facilitate discussions on mathematical educational topics of interest to NAEEA members.
